How to set up 2-Step Verification for ConnX

3. Choose which Authentication app 

• To set up MFA with ConnX, you will need either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device

• You should already have one of these after having set up your Google or Microsoft MFA. Once one of these apps are downloaded, Click next.

4. Scan the QR Code

• Open the authenticator app installed on your phone

• Add a new authenticator by scanning the QR code on your screen (you may need to press + > Scan a QR code)

• Upon scanning, you should now have a 6 digit code from PARED ConnX in your authenticator app. Click next.

4b. Enter the key

• If the QR code does not work, you can alternatively enter the secret key provided into your authenticator app

5. Verify the authenticator code

• You will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code which is now populated in your authenticator app.

• This will verify that you have successfully linked the ConnX MFA to your device

• You can test this by signing out of ConnX and back in.
