How to Set Up Email Forwarding in Gmail
2. Open Gmail Settings
In the top-right corner, click the Gear icon (⚙️).
Then click "See all settings".
3. Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP Tab
Inside Settings, click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
4. Add a Forwarding Address
Under the "Forwarding" section, click "Add a forwarding address".
Enter the email address where you want your emails to be forwarded.
Click "Next", then "Proceed".
5. Confirm the Forwarding Address
A confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to confirm forwarding (like in your screenshot).
Click "Proceed" to continue.
6. Confirm the Forwarding Address
Gmail will send a confirmation code to the forwarding email address.
Open the inbox of that email address.
Find the confirmation email and click the verification link or enter the code back in your original Gmail settings.
7. Enable Forwarding
After verifying, return to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" settings.
Select "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and choose your forwarding email from the dropdown.
You can also choose what happens to the Gmail copy:
Keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox (recommended)
Archive Gmail's copy
Delete Gmail's copy
8. Save Changes
Scroll down and click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
